The cars in the JDM listicle are ones that we like. They give our eyes a boner. We have tried to find the most popular models of each car type, including Civics and Skylines. There are also other cars like RX-7s, AE86s, and more.
We looked at a lot of modified cars. But we only chose the ones from Japan and ranked them from most visited to least visited.
2008 HONDA CIVIC MUGEN RR
The 2008 Honda Civic Mugen RR is a limited edition model designed by the Mugen racing team. 1996 NISSAN 180SX
The Nissan 180SX has always been a popular drift platform, and in the ’90s, when it came in with the Japanese domestic market. However, one year after its release on our shores, there was a split amongst the community of drifters here on how they felt about this new car. One side believed that because of its sleek lines and its “European” appearance, this particular 180SX should not be modified into a drift car. On the other hand, some believed otherwise.
It didn’t matter whether it was driven by an old Honda guy or an R32 GTR owner; it still looked astonishing to many of us, and there was no reason why we couldn’t slide it around just like any other car. The problem was that there were very few aftermarket companies who made parts for this 180SX, and, as a result, many people were left with no choice but to modify their cars.
EF HONDA CIVICS
The Honda Civic is a well-known car, and for a good reason. It’s affordable, reliable, and stylish. The latest version, the EF Honda Civic, is no exception.
The EF Honda Civic was introduced in 1989 and remained in production until 1992. It was available as a 4-door sedan or a 2-door hatchback. The EF Civic was powered by a 1.5L engine, which produced 70 hp. A 5-speed manual transmission was standard, and a 4-speed automatic was optional.

1993 & 2000 MAZDA RX-7s

The MAZDA RX-7 is one of those sports cars whose name will always evoke images of fast, affordable performance and handling and classic style. The exterior styling was futuristic when introduced in 1978, but the RX-7 still looked good over two decades after its introduction. The sleek sports car had an angular shape with pop-up headlamps, a vent on each front fender, and wide wheel arches.
The first RX-7 was available only as a convertible (just like all of the other third-generation Miatas). There was no rear seat, as the car was built for just two passengers. The engine was a Wankel rotary that displaced 1.3 liters and produced around 100 horsepower. This engine was updated in later years to produce up to 182 horsepower.
1993 NISSAN S13
1993 was an excellent year for the Nissan S13. This car was known for its stylish looks and superior performance. The S13 was available in both two-door and four-door versions, making it a versatile option for drivers. It also came with a variety of engine options, allowing drivers to choose the power they wanted.

2010 HONDA ACCORD TOURER
The 2010 Honda Accord Tourer is a wagon that’s based on the Accord platform, and it was unveiled at the 2009 Geneva Motor Show. It was originally marketed as the “European Car of the Year,” and it’s available with either a gasoline or diesel engine. The diesel engine is a 2.2-liter i-CTDi unit that produces 160 hp and 350 Nm of torque. The wagon can reach 62 mph in 8.5 seconds, while the top speed is electronically limited to 146 mph. The Accord Tourer can seat five passengers, and it has a large boot with a volume of 587 liters (21 cubic feet) that can be extended up to 1,710 liters (60 cubic feet).
1998 SKYLINE 25GT & 1995 180SX
In 1998, the Nissan Skyline 25GT was released. This car was a two-door sports coupe that came with a six-cylinder engine. It was also one of the first cars to come with stability control as standard equipment.

1998 HONDA CIVIC TYPE R
Introduced in 1998, the Honda Civic Type R was a performance-oriented version of the Civic. It featured a powerful engine, sporty styling, and impressive handling.
The Type R was available in both coupe and sedan body styles and came with a 2.0-liter VTEC engine that produced 190 horsepower. The car also had 4-wheel disc brakes, 15-inch alloy wheels, and a 6-speed manual transmission which was an upgrade from the 5-speed found in other Civics.
The Type R is still one of the most sought-after Honda vehicles ever made. Used examples usually sell for over $10,000 in good condition with low miles.
1986 TOYOTA SPRINTER TRUENO
The 1986 Toyota Sprinter Trueno is a rear-wheel-drive sports car that was produced by the Japanese automaker Toyota. It was based on the AE86 chassis and was available in both coupe and convertible body styles. The engine was a 1.6 liter 4-cylinder that produced 112 horsepower. The transmission was a 5-speed manual. The suspension was independent in the front and rear. The brakes were disc in the front and drum in the rear. The car was available with either a cloth or leather interior.
