5 THINGS YOUR FURRY FRIENDS HATE ABOUT YOU!

All dogs deserve to be loved and cared for by their parents. Since no two canines are alike, they all have their individual preferences, dislikes, and fears.

But do you know that there are certain things you do that upset your furry companions? They cannot describe how insane, illogical, or perplexing your actions can be.

Here is a list of a few:

  • Hugging

It’s adorable to see pictures of people hugging canines, but the reality isn’t quite so joyful. Many dogs dislike being hugged, especially by strangers, and arms around a dog’s neck or body might be perceived as a threat. Although most dogs tolerate gentle hugs from familiar humans, this does not mean that they enjoy them every time.

  • Not Letting Them Sniff

Dogs like walks, and taking them for a walk outside allows them to explore their surroundings. Your dog explores the world first with his nose, then with his other senses. It isn’t polite to rush your dog through a walk without allowing him to rest and sniff. So, the next time you take your dog for a walk, give him plenty of time to sniff his surroundings.

  • Yelling at Them

No one enjoys being screamed at or severely punished. If you have a sensitive or fearful dog, you may notice that scolding and harsh punishment disturbs or scares them. Animal veterinary experts say yelling at your pooch and using ‘punishment-based training’ could make them depressed in the long term.

  • Ignoring or Being Left Alone

Leaving your dogs alone at home for more than 5-6  hours can have severe consequences. Even if they haven’t eaten all day, they may pretend as if their stomach is full. Don’t put it off any longer; contact your veterinarian right away so that they can help you make them feel better and normal.

Tip: When you’re at home, play engaging games as much as possible with your dog and spend quality time with him. Maintain a routine that includes plenty of physical activity and mental stimulation.

  • Not Following a Routine

Routines help us manage our lives and stay on track. Try to feed your dog at the same time every day if possible. Also, follow a routine for daily physical activity or exercise. These efforts make your dog happier after a few well-organized days. Routines and regulations help your dog feel more comfortable by making his surroundings more consistent.

Moreover, regular veterinary care or online pet consultation is essential for your pet’s good health.

Final Words:

If you’re concerned that your pet is unhappy with you, your rude behavior can be a reason. It’s good to take your pet to DCC Animal Hospital to figure out the actual reason for the problem. They provide a wide range of services for your dog, including medical, grooming, pet daycare, telehealth consultation, surgical, and preventive health care, to live a longer and happier life.
