A mosquito is an insect that’s present everywhere in the world, and while it’s common throughout the year in tropical climates, it’s more prevalent during the summer in some parts of the world. Mosquitoes are available in different species, colors, and sizes. Female mosquitoes require blood from vertebrates, or animals that have a spine so that they may lay eggs and that is why they bite.
These female mosquitoes have a special part in their mouths which they use for sucking blood from human beings. When they bite, mosquitoes leave their saliva inside the bite point, and this causes itching.
What does a mosquito bite look like?
After being bitten by a mosquito, a person will notice a red or pink bump which may itch a lot. The severity of itching depends on the person, as there are people who may experience severe itching while others experience less of it.
